My New York Experience

During February half term my family and I travelled to New York for 4 and a half days. We arrived on Sunday 15th at around 2pm American time. We stepped outside of the airport and it was freezing, and I literally mean freezing!! When we got there it was about -10˚C, which I am not used to. Seeing as it was so cold, we got a taxi and drove to Times Square which was where my hotel was.

Times Square was possibly the most amazing, perfect, beautiful place I have ever been, despite the cold and how much we had to wrap up every time we left the hotel room, walking through Times Square really didn't make me think about the temperature.

Whilst we were there we did a hell of a lot of shopping, which probably wasn't too good, but it was amazing at the same time. The Disney shop that you can see in the picture above was the best shop I had ever been too, they had every single thing Disney in there, from rows of stuffed toys, to the marvel characters. It was perfect.

This was me being a princess in the Disney shop, it was awesome!!!!!!!

Whilst we were there it snowed, so we headed to Central Park and walked around there for about 30 minutes, I knew Central Park was pretty but when it snowed it was literally gorgeous.

Finally we went up the Rockefeller Centre which was beautiful, the view of New York city was the most breath-taking thing, it was spectacular.

So that's it for today's blog post, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I did in New York because it was honestly the most unbelievable place ever.

What did you do during the half term?
